If you encounter any problems with the product you received, don't worry. We will do our utmost to resolve the issue. Your support and complete satisfaction drive us forward. All products purchased from our website (www.9amhome.com) come with a limited, non-transferable warranty. This limited warranty supplements but does not exclude any other statutory rights and remedies you may have under Australian Consumer Law.

Limited Warrant Details

We guarantee:

  • The purchased product matches the provided description/specifications and any representations made about the product;
  • The product (excluding parts and consumables) will be free from defects in materials and workmanship at the time of delivery within the warranty period;
  • The product will be free from defects that would impair its normal operation and functionality.

The warranty is void if defects arise from misuse, lack of maintenance, commercial use, or unauthorized modifications. The warranty starts from the date of delivery, with any extension calculated from the delivery date, not from the agreement date.

The warranty applies only within Australia; products used outside these areas are not covered. If you use third-party services to ship items outside Australia, all 9am warranty policies become void.

The warranty period begins from the date of delivery and is valid only for the original purchaser of the product.

          Limited Warranty Exclusions

          • Normal wear and tear due to accidents, abuse, misuse, water damage, natural and environmental conditions, and external causes.
          • Improper assembly/disassembly not following the provided self-assembly manual instructions.
          • Damage caused by overloading the furniture beyond its weight capacity;
          • Damage due to use, misuse, or inability to use the product.
          • Exposure to non-office environments, outdoor use, or in high-temperature, high-humidity, or high-salinity environments;
          • Changes in surface finish and color, including but not limited to discoloration due to direct light/sunlight exposure, surface temperature changes, or aging;
          • Discoloration and natural wood grain variations due to stains, dirt, ink, or dyes;
          • Unique features of each solid wood piece, such as knots and patterns, which are a result of using natural wood and add character to your unique desk. Note that defects and obvious manufacturing damage on Wildwood and Eco Bamboo desktops are still covered;
          • Damage to all finishes caused by using cleaning chemicals (alcohol, detergents, etc.);
          • Repairs, alterations, or modifications not authorized by 9am, including third-party desktops and accessories.

          Damaged Goods During Transit

          All our products are shipped from our storage facilities in their original condition, and we expect you to receive them as such. Any damage occurring during transit will be our responsibility, and we will provide replacements. If an exact replacement is not available, we will offer an alternative replacement or a refund, depending on the situation.

          We must be notified of any damage within 7 days of receipt of the goods for you to be eligible for a replacement or refund.

          How to Make a Claim

          To make a warranty claim, you need to contact us within 7 days of discovering the defect, providing your order details/proof of purchase and clear photos or videos of the relevant defect or issue.

          Upon receiving your warranty claim, we will assess the claim and determine if further details are needed. We may ask for defective parts to be sent back to our warehouse for inspection/evaluation, in which case we will cover the associated costs.

          We will notify you of the warranty outcome as soon as possible and arrange any necessary repairs, replacement parts, or product replacements.
